Dear Weather,

I will be the first person to tell you that I love thunderstorms. They are the highlight of my month. Unfortunately, having one every week is a little overmuch. The oppressive pre-storm humidity is rather bothersome, the satellite goes out during the downpour, and the electrical concerns make me nervous for the house's various appliances. I'd really appreciate it if you could sit up and realize that we're not a tropical climate and therefore do not have a rainy season.
