Dear Mother Nature,
Where, oh where, has summer gone? Yesterday, I woke up, in the absence of air-conditioning, wrapped in my covers-- very nicely warm, but also very intensely creeped out. Just last week I was sweating myself out of tank tops!
Today I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt and am still shivering noticeably. Not. On.
I really do not want to be reminded of those bleak January days of last minute projects, midterm preparation, and running purely on adrenaline. I do not want to prematurely experience the cynical feeling that I will never be naturally warm again. I hate summer, but it is bloody necessary!
So please, I beg you, come off it and let me enjoy these last few days while I can.
