When did this become the norm for me?
I believe when you became a Barbara Cartland fan you abicated all pretense to the contrary. Don't worry, there are lots of good regencies. I like the ones by Carla Kelly (down-to-earth introspective romance), Loretta Chase (fun and adventure-y), and Amanda Quick (sweet, sweet formula) myself. And early books by Celeste Bradley, before she started to let her personal kinks show a bit too much.

A 10 YEAR-OLD HAS RUINED ME FOR OTHER MEN.
I find his 14-year-old persona in Tsubasa even worse. I mean, as far as ruining goes. How is anyone supposed to compete with that?

In a similar effort to recapture my childhood, I dug out my old copy of Lego Racers the other night
I spent last weekend playing Pokemon Snap, and it was wonderful.
