Oooh! Aaah! Precious Moments~~!
I really love the new "Life Takes Visa" commercial. It's set in a bowling alley as this guy waits and waits for his bowling ball to come back and all the while When Will I See You Again croons in the background. I howl with laughter every time it comes on.
I think this unbearably funny for two reasons. 1) That sort of thing happens to me every time I go bowling and 2) If that song had ever occurred to me as I was waiting, I totally would have burst into song and then laughed until I cried. It seriously is just too perfect.
This occurs to me now because I was just reading a fanfic where two characters are forced into cohabiting an apartment and one of them tries, in such a belligerent and reluctant fashion, to try to get to know the other, which rapidly degenerates into a really petty fight and suddenly I was humming Getting To Know You from The King & I and good God! It was definitely one the top three most appropriate places I've ever burst into song.
P.S. I hate my new keyboard with the fire of a thousand suns, but I really couldn't justify keeping my old one considering that half the letters on the keys were completely rubbed off.
P.P.S. I am not crazy. I prefer the label "charmingly eccentric," thank you.
P.P.P.S. I admit, in my own defense, that I have had two cans of Code Red today.
