I am totally hiding from homework right now. I have pretty much figured this college thing out, including the fact that no matter what I do, at least one class (Origins of Human Society, for instance) is going to give me trouble all semester. Other than that class, I am in a groove and I plan to stay there.
Also, to perhaps karmically repay me for the suck that is my unending battle with Origins, my Japan Civ TA is a Brit--dry wit, heavy accent and all. Plus, he's very knowledgeable about the Heian era. I envision many happily spent class hours.
Also, I'm going to see Rent tonight. With Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal.

Grey's Anatomy. Burkina is no more and George is like, cutter emo and they were seriously the two main reasons I was watching the show.
The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets.
Card Captor Sakura. I still love this to death and will occasionally put in one of the movies when I need a fix. I totally fell all over myself for this anime/manga six years ago.
The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized she really was fucking crazy.
Death Note. I was sort of creeped out by this one, but I liked the Light/L dynamic. Then I heard about SPOILERS and after that I was done. No more. Thanks for playing. Good night.
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved she doesn't actually live in town.
Bones. Seriously, I watched this show in a week and it is/was amazing fun, but after a tiny flurry of fic collecting, I was already satisfied.
The steady.
Harry Potter. Through thick and thin plot developments, in sickly and in healthy relationships, until death do us part, I do.
The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with.
Ouran Kouko Host Club. Still a huge fan of the show, but I've only read about four pieces of fanfic for whatever reason.
The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't.
Temeraire. I love the books, but that's about it.
The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool chick except it's never really gone anywhere.
Prince of Tennis. Don't even ask me why I haven't watched this yet, I haven't a clue.
The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at her and thinking, "her? how the hell did she land all these cool guys?"
Naruto. Enough said.
The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom he keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for him except you just know it's going to end badly.
Doctor Who. What can I say except Doomsday?
The one who gave you the best damned summer of your life and who you measure all other potential partners against.
