As an update, Otakon plan is currently operating under a worst case scenario, but it is a bearable worst case scenario, so no more of that silly business.

In other news, I am desperately trying to reread HBP quickly so that I can read DH before I leave late Thursday. I wasn't too worried about spoilers before the book leaked, but now that it's out there, I can't help but fear that something awful will come out of the mouths of the marauding masses of super-nerds I will no doubt encounter over the weekend.

This plan is currently being frustrated by the fact that The Count of Monte Cristo is on abcFamily right now. I love this movie for all the reasons it is so bad, but also because when I was in eighth grade my friends and I decided that Jacopo and I were somehow related. I don't even remember the details now, but when I flipped to the channel, he was there and I went "JACOPO!" instinctually and I broke out in a crazed grin. Best and worst years of my life, just as adolescence should be.
