I've actually been on the computer more in this past day than I've been in the past three weeks. That's sort of disturbing when I think about it really.

Anyway, I'm here. In Paris, France. It's not so bad really. This keyboard is driving me insane, but other than that... God, why the heck should you have to shift to get a period? That's just stupid.

So how has my stay really been so far? Alright I guess. I've spent more of it sleeping than I might have cared for. And I feel like crap. Yesterday, I had this massive headache left over from the flight and then today my stomach is... exteremely not happy...

And it's hot. God, they've got this weird fan-thing in my room and I'm basically huddled against it.

And I feel like an idiot. That part really sucks. I mean my cousin Christine is like 12 and she speaks better English than I do French.

But what about the good stuff?

The apartment is nice, Jean Paul and Martine and Christine are all wonderful. Catherine is a friggin' lifeline and I couldn't be more grateful...

God, who had the bright idea of sticking a 'q' on the 'a' key???

Really the only things that are truly bothering me are my stomach and this keyboard. Considering that, I think these next couple of weeks are going to be all right.

The... 'q' key is on the... 'a' key? o.o What the? And you have to shift to get a period? Don't they use periods in France?

QWERTY keyboards should be universal.

And, humor me here, is the song you're listening to called "Hair" by My Donna, or "My Donna" by Hair?

It's My Donna from the musical Hair. Never ever watch the movie or listen to the soundtrack if you're not prepared. Cathy and I watched the movie during the first week she was at my house. Then when we were in New York she bought the soundtrack. Needless to say, neither one of us has had anything else in our heads for the past 3 and a half weeks. It's become quite insane really.

Gah, if it isn't bad enough to have to shift to get a period, you have to shift to get any numbers as well. They're on the same keys but other stuf is what comes by default, so it looks like this when I type out the number line: &颧"'(-蟧_蟧蟧 Except you know half the stuff that comes out isn't Unicode-safe, so it'll come out like 蟧蟧蟧蟧蟧 to you. -_-;;;

Stupid French keyboard that doesn't like me~~~~.

And the songs are freaky, by the way. I'd be embarrassed to type out Sodomy for you, but let's just say the last line is "Join the holy orgy, Kama Sutra... everyone~~" Geez. And then there's Hashish which is basically a song where they name all sorts of drugs so that it goes "Hashish... cocaine... marijuana...opium..." Oh and then initials haha. "LBJ took the IRT down to 4th Street, USA. When he got there, what did he see? The youth of America on LSD." And the song Hair itself is odd. In the middle it branches off into a Star-Spangled Banner spoof, by going "Oh say, can you see... my eyes if you can, THEN MY HAIR'S TOO SHORT!!"

Down to here, down to there, down to where it stops by itself. doo doo dododo d-d-dododo~~
