It's pretty darn awesome. In that it is not awesome at all. Unrepentantly so. Brain-breakingly so. It is charming in a bastardy kind of way.

I think the worst part is that more than wanting to see more of Merlin and Arthur, I am sort of dying to see more of Colin and Bradley. I am not one for the RPS usually, but I would hit that up in a heartbeat. Also, whatever the hell my thing with William Mosley is, Bradley James is a thousand times sillier, and a thousand times hotter, and thus a thousand times even more my thing. God help me.

Also, you know, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Since I am home in New Jersey and have spent half the day watching House marathons, my thank you gift to you all is a rec:

I would never write a multi-parter, because I refuse to even read them (except in HP fandom), like I'll read long fics but if you take a fic of the same length and post it as chapters, I won't touch it, I don't know what's wrong with me. (it's okay if they exceed the LJ post limit and need to have multi-parts because of that, as long as there's an easy link to the next part.) A part of me does intend it as SRS BZS but if it ends up long, it will be ALL IN ONE PIECE, GODDAMN IT. who knows if this will ever happen, hahaha. jeez i have a ten page research paper due on friday.

When I said multiparter, I actually meant exactly what you're talking about. A fest-length fic. A too-long for LJ, but only by one or two posts, kind of fic. I actually am with you on the chaptered fic, most of the time. WTF, chapters. I have actual books for that shit. IT BETTER THE FUCK HAPPEN. Just maybe keep it to outlining until we are safely to Christmas.

OH FUCK, SO MAGNIFICENT. GODDAMN DIS/CONNECTED, I AM TOTALLY CURSING ALL OVER THE PLACE BECAUSE OF IT. BUT TRULY MAGNIFICENT.

ACK, I DID NOT THINK OF THE JOSSING. DAMN. Maybe keep it to a little fic? Churn out a part of it right away so you have an established universe you can return to even if you get jossed? I have allowed that trick before.

I am sorry I have kept you up. If it makes any difference, I'll have been up for 22 hours straight, no naps, in about 10 minutes. I was feeling your pain four hours ago when I came home to my exploded Facebook and was pretty much peer-pressured into watching two forty-minute episodes in order to respond to everything. Now I am riding a Merlin high and I have to be up in four hours to go tree-hunting and NYC-returning. In other words, see you in about 12 hours and I expect this Band!AU to be worth my while.
